More multiplayer games today. Nice that most of the challenges relate to the weekly. 2 more days to get that remember so start pushing for those kills.
You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 12 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1000 cR
12 Kills with precision weapons in 1 matchmaking game, for team slayer and such this can be difficult, you'd need to get 25% of the kills all with only the DMR, Sniper, Needle Rifle or Focus Rifle. The best thing to do is enter Invasion for the long rounds or Multi Team/Arena Doubles so that the kills needed are 50 and there's only 2 of you.
Home Field Advantage - Win 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 2500 cR
I hope you people are noticing this pattern we've had this week. So yeah, this time you need to win 7 games. Play what you're good at and avoid multi-team (Unless you happen to be really good at it).
More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR
You know what to do, while playing your games, get some kills and get this challenge.
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 2000 cR
As it will lead onto this one. This one can be done in any game mode and you'll have that boost of 125 kills minimum from the last challenges.
That's it, go out and have fun and make sure you close the gap for the weekly. I'm off to play some Halo Reach now, bye.
50% Halo, 35% Fox, 10% Hats, 5% Random. Helping you get all Halo Reach Challenges.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 03/12/2010
It's Friday so the weekend is almost here. Time for some Reach Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR
I'm fairly sure we all know how to get this one by now.
Single Wield - Earn {requird_count} kills with small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR
The "{requird_count}" on the website is also known as 30 kills. So Pistols are what you need.
Vengeance Found - Earn your 'Revenge' in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1150 cR
Like last time with this, you need to kill him who killed you. Like I said last time, a large chaotic match can drastically reduce the chances but an Arena doubles game will give you a 50% chance.
Five-time Champ - Win 5 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 2750 cR
Even more Multiplayer games. This time rather than just playing them, you need to win them. Any gametype counts and it's only 5 so go out and have fun.
That's it for today, have fun and keep warm, it's bloody freezing in my room.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 02/12/2010
Sorry I'm late. The net has been down at work so I've been stranded and bored. all is well now, although I don't think that's too much of a problem. The challenges this week so far have been very straight forward and today is no exception. 3 Multiplayer challenges and 1 ambiguous one. Let's go:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 3000 cR
Kill some evil things then kill them some more.
Neuroscience - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1200 cR
Headshots, best game types are ones that benifit greatly from them, SWAT & Snipers. If you're not good at getting the headshots, play a long objective game such as invasion and stick with the DMR/Needle Rifle.
Light Fuse, Run Away - Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1000 cR
4 things to blow up with grenades, can't help but feel a bit of Deja Vu. Well anyway, 1 game to get them in, just spam them where needed, or aim, Plasma sticks are good for a near definite kill.
Credits for Completion - Complete 5 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1500 cR
So far this week we've been awarded points for finishing 3 & 4 games. Now 5. C'mon people, it isn't hard.
That's it. Time to get back to tedious work. You guys have fun. Bye.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 01/12/2010
Late again, as this course gets more and more annoying. Now way we can finish this work in time. I can get you the challenges though, as out of sync this PC clock is.
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 90 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1000 cR
Kill 90 things that are bad in any way and anywhere in Reach.
Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR
Shoot a plasma Pistol and let your partner finish them off in invasion or Elite Slayer. Very quick as all weapons are there ready for you.
Sticky Icky Icky - Earn 5 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1625 cR
Elite Slayer & Invasion again. Plasma Grenades are easy to come by and best used in close combat. Must be done in 1 game, remember that.
Credits for Completion - Complete 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1500 cR
Don't quit and keep playing, that's all you need to do.
Challenges today, very simple, not challenging Challenges at all. Have fun getting them. Back to work for me. Bye.
Happy 1st of December.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 30/11/2010
Morning, late as usual. Work has been a rather annoying Roller-coaster so far this week. I'm not one to let you go without something though as easy as today is, so let's get right in as always:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 2000 cR
Killing all those enemies in any game mode is very easy, with all the Multiplayer challenges today though I'd say stick with it. Work on that Weekly challenge.
T-Hug It Out - Kill 4 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1100 cR
Punch them, Stab them, Hammer them or Shoot them with a Shotgun. Do it 4 times in 1 game.
Double Double - Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. 1350 cR
Very easy to get in Rumble Pit/Multi Team. Pick off 2 guys who are fighting and there we have it.
Participation Counts - Complete 3 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1300 cR
Log in, play 3 games, don't even need to win.
That's all for today. Back to work. I really could sleep.

Solo Legendary - Deathless Spear Walkthrough
O.K. Guys, I'm back with some helpful hints on how to stay alive on Legendary. Tip of the Spear. Most parts of this level you can just waltz right on by and ignore combat, do that where possible. When combat is needed though, I'm here to help.
It's a level that starts off with a lot of guys to kill and 2 very powerful Fuel Rod Turrets. The best thing to do is start off slow though. Take out as many Grunts & Jackals as you can, leave the Elite for now. Use liberal lashings of Grenade Launch to wipe them out. When it comes to the Turrets they'll always be manned by Grunts so go ahead and use the DMR to pick them off. Once the turrets are out of the picture you're free to work on the Elite without fear. Pick up a Plasma Pistol and overload his shield. DMR to the head and you're all done. Bring the Plasma Pistol or Grenade Launcher, You'll need the EMP.
Now you'll receive the Rocket Hog. Take it and drive to the AA turret. First thing to do is drive round the back so you're at the far side. Once there, get to the small hill and hop on the Launcher. Wait till the Revenant shows its face, DO NOT DESTROY IT, steal it and after jumping from Vehicle to Vehicle, give it to Kat. Having 2 vehicles will split the enemies attention. While She goes and annoys the troops, you turn that Launcher towards the AA gun and unleash hell upon it. 8 Volleys will do and you'll destroy it without even needing to get close.
Move back round to where you started on the other side of the AA Gun. Take the path that takes you round the side where the AA gun is, watching out for the Ghosts that still remain. Then, when you head round towards the Wraith, if you gave Kat the Revenant she'll be there distracting it so you and your gunner can finish it off.
Moving on to the base, at a distance, once again pepper the area with Rockets as to take out the turrets. Moving on to the base, pick up a Needle Rifle, Plasma Pistol & Hologram. Moving through, there are 2 Elites before the Zealot. One will be a Major rank, the other, a Minor. The Major will be near the long stretch, the Minor on the mini turret at the end. Use the Hologram to lure the major directly away from you. Pop the shields and nab a headshot. The Minor can only see down the main part of the hall. Hide behind the Pillars to get close enough and throw a Plasma Grenade on him to sort him out.
Now, as you approach the Zealot, there'll be a courtyard with a few Grunts & Jackals. Take them out with the Needle Rifle before moving up the Ramp to take him on. As usual for Elites, Plasma Pistol Charged bolt for the shields and Needle to the Head. As you head down, pick up the Plasma Launcher and drop the Plasma Pistol. Drive the Revenant to the drop off and kill the Jackals. Then, Like with the First AA gun, fire upon the Turret with the Vehicle. This will eventually kill it from a safe distance.
Now, the Wraiths are the biggest threat now and the thing to do is to remove the one on the left with the Plasma Launcher. Once that's done, move to the right staying on the other side of the huge wall. Head to the Falcon and pick up the Grenade launcher dropped there. Take out the Grunt in the Turret seat with the Needle Rifle then EMP it to get close enough to destroy it. Then get back in the Revenant and bomb the areas where enemies remain.
Now you have the Falcon ride and this bit will be the part where you can loose it badly. Take the left hand side turret and remember that you have unlimited ammo and these Grenades are really powerful. Don't bother with the EMP function and remember that they don't Arc that much. Fire as soon as you can see something. To hesitate, is to die. There are about 4 AA turrets, a Wraith and a few Grunts & Elites scattered about. Once they're all wiped out you'll move into the Shield.
Grab a Jet pack, Health and Ammo. Take out the Grunts but more importantly the Skirmishers that have the Needle and Focus Rifles. They do a lot of damage. After making sure that most of the Snipers are down, hug the right side wall and Jet Pack over towards the pipes. Get yourself right on top of them and towards the middle. The turrets can't hit you from here. Fly over into the Grav lift and ride it up to the top. There is one Elite with a sword and a bunch of Grunts, 2 with Fuel Rods. Take a Plasma Pistol and any other weapon to deal with them all, use the rest of your grenades. Remember, once the button is pressed, the level is over so you don't need to worry about killing them all.
That's that, Have fun and don't die.

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 29/11/2010 All in a Week's Work
All in a Week's Work - Kill 1000 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. 7777 cR
Like a day's work, only 7 times as much. 1000 enemies is a large amount, I won't lie. The best way is to really take a large chunk out of it every day. 100 at least. 25 is the average kill count in Multi-Team slayer games, objective can vary. Best thing to do is stick with what your good at and if you get a case where it's kill X amount of enemies in any gametype, stick it on Multiplayer. It'll work out better. Have fun and get you're killing gloves on. I'll speak to you guys later.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 29/11/2010
Morning, hope yours is better than mine. Got 99% of the way to work before being told to go home. Best 4 hours 30 mins and £12 of my life so far. However, right now that is the least of our worries (Well mine at least) as we have a Legendary Challenge to do. Let's get started.
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 2500 cR
Very basic, just kill however you want. I suggest leaving it till the end and filling up the remaining kills with Multiplayer.
No 'I' in Team - Earn 10 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1200 cR
10 assists, 1 game. Somewhat of a challenge. You'll need a partner for this one. One of you take a plasma pistol while the other takes any other weapon. You'll need to stick together and coordinate attacks. You only have 5 seconds to get the kill after the damage.
Deathless Spear - Complete Tip of the Spear on Legendary without dying. 1250 cR
Only 1250 cR, usually it's 4000 cR, whatever. So what I'll do is come back to this on a bit later after studding it for a bit. Until I can give an in depth review, the best advice I can say is pick up a partner and let them blaze the trail ahead. The beginning will be troublesome though. As will the Falcon Ride.
I do know of the glitch though, so I'll tell you that if you feel to wimpy. Play through till you reach near the end of the level. End the game and load it back up from that checkpoint. Don't die from there till the end and you'll have the challenge (If that way still works, if not, do it properly)
Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 20 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR
And what you do with that Machine Gun or Needler is use it to kill enemies. As the AR/Needler is on of the starter weapons in most game types (Needler for Elite game types) this is very easy, just try and avoid the melee that's so tempting.
That's it for the Daily challenges... Almost. I'll write down a complete list with added video on how to complete the levels on Legendary, as they are needed.
I'll be back for the weekly in an hour or two. Bye.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 28/11/2010
On train, low on time, here's the gist:
Pod Kettle Black - Kill 10 Elite Drop Pods in The Long Night of Solace. 1000 cR
A drop pod is one of the blue things that are shot straight down towards Reach. They look like plasma bullets but don't track and are quite small. Start at Rally Point Alpha.
All of the others are very basic and are just killing things.
Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR
Kill, Kill, Kill. Jump into any gametype you like, multiteam is a good one.
Return of the Mack - Kill 75 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder. 2250cR
Kill, Kill, Kill. Any Level, any weapon, have fun.
Heroic Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking on Heroic or harder. 2000 cR
Scoreattack or Firefight, just grab those kills.
Sorry I can't be more informative but I'll update details later. Have fun guys.
UPDATE: I updated a little. Nothing really worth mentioning. Had a good day on the site and had a brilliant weekend in York. I don't see any more breaks in the future so it's smooth sailing. I'll be back on Monday with the regular schedule.
