Halo Reach Daily Challenge 31/12/2010

Very Much Multiplayer Challenges today.

Gunslinger – Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1500 cR

Killing the enemies isn't that hard. Nor is killing 150 of them, it is time consuming though. If you do multi team flat out it'll take you about an hour. If you've got more time though, just enjoy yourself.

A Great Friend – Earn 15 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking – 2000 cR

Team up as always. Call out your targets and punch them or shield pop them then hide in your Armour lock. Then let your friend finish them off with pistol headshot. Repeat.

Double Double – Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1350 cR
A Solid Outing – Earn at least 12 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1600 cR

I'm going to do these ones together. Multi-Team. That's all you need. The kill amounts you can get are crazy. I once got 45 kills in 1 objective game because they last so long and there's so much carnage. An added 8 Double Kills on top of that, King of the hill is good for grouping enemies, try and aim for that.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 30/12/2010

A Friend in Need – Earn 5 assists in Firefight Matchmaking – 1300 cR

If you're in Sniperfight, shoot the turrets of the incoming ships once. Then let the other guys take the kill. As for other enemies, just partner up. This challenge is so much easier when you have a friend to co-ordinate attacks with.

A Satisfied Thirst – Kill 250 Grunts in Firefight Matchmaking – 1800 cR

Keep on playing Gruntpocolypse. Aim for the head, it'll help out with another challenge.

Demon – Kill 10 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking – 1250 cR

Sniperattack will give you 4-16 Elites so It can take 1-3 games. Scoreattack will give you 6 - 7. Maybe 1 of each will work well.

Hyper Lethal Vector – Kill 100 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking – 2000 cR

That's what Noble 6 is. Gruntpocolypse is good for this as you get a DMR & Pistol, both weapons are able to get headshots, so stick with it and you'll have 100 in no time.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 29/12/2010

Today is... The 29th, beyond that I don't know, it's all sort of blurred together.

Shootin’ and Lootin’ – Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach – 1500 cR

Kill 150 things in whatever way you feel like. Play Multiplayer, set up your own Custom Firefight, doesn't make any difference to this challenge.

Killagruntjaro! – Earn 10 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game – 1000 cR

Same as the one on Monday, the only difference is that this one can be done on any difficulty. Though, it being match made you don't have much of a choice in the difficulty, as far as I'm aware.

Sticky Icky Icky – Earn 4 sticky grenade kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1500 cR

Gametype that start you off with Sticky Grenades of give you a bunch of them are always good. I'm talking about Elite Slayer & Invasion. These gametypes will give you a bunch of them. Just a case of lining up the throw.

Vengeance Found – Earn your ‘Revenge’ in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1150 cR

To get a revenge, kill the guy that just killed you. I suggest Arena Doubles for the fact that there's only 2 people on the other side. Killing the person that killed you it much more likely with less people.

That be all, have a pleasant evening, good night.

Nope, I lie. Small update on the weekly, you can do the same mission over and over again. That's if you want to.

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 28/12/2010

It be Tuesday, Day 2 in your Challenge against the weekly. I intend to do 2 a day, should give an even spread. The challenges today, good pay off.

Fire When Ready – Kill 30 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1000 cR

Not hard at all. Just another grind till you kill enough. Should only take a couple of games of Multi-Team.

One Spartan Army – Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking – 1500 cR

Same as above buy you only have A.I. to fight. A legion of Grunts if you will. Not very challenging.

T-Hug It Out – Kill 7 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1350 cR

Melee, Sword, Hammer and Shotgun are your weapons here. Invasion is very good for this as it gives you the weapons you need and confined spaces to fight in also the time required. 12 mins per round, east time to get 7 close combat kills in 1 game.

Aggressive Negotiations – Earn at least 17 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 3000 cR

Multi-Team is your best bet. Objective would be great but Slayer will work just as well. 50 kills between 2 people is 25 each, more than enough.

That's it today, easy pickings so best use that time for the weekly. Have fun.

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 27/12/2010 This Is How We Do It

This Is How We Do It

This Is How We Do It - Complete 9 Campaign missions on Heroic - 10000 cR

Here we are, full circle. The was the first weekly challenge for those of you who didn't have the game back then. If this is a case of repeating the same weekly challenges of just revisiting an old one I'm not sure. Might be a little encouragement for those of you who got the game over Christmas to go and play the single player story and play it the way it's supposed to be played.

It doesn't matter though and what does matter is finishing the level. It doesn't make any difference if you die or play co-op. You need to get from point A to point B and finish. It's not hard but throughout the week I will post up titbits to help you out with the challenges. For starters you can check out the Deathless Legendary I've posted above. That'll help on the missions listed and linked.

So until tomorrow I leave you to have a go. Have fun.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 27/12/2010

New week, more challenges to acquire. Nothing out of the ordinary to start with. All very simple.

More Than a Handful – Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1750 cR

No challenge here, just a bit of grinding. I'm going to say go for the Multi-Team as that gives you the most bang for your buck. More people, more teams and more carnage. Best way to get kills is to play objective games and just stay within shooting distance without getting to close.

One Spartan Army – Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking – 1000 cR

One game of Scoreattack will get you this. Doesn't matter what Scoreattack mode you choose. Goes nicely with the next challenge.

Heroic Killagruntjaro – Earn 10 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game on Heroic or harder – 1000 cR

10 multikills is a rather small amount. Double kills come rather frequently and on Corvette, if you grenade the monsters closets you can get anything from a Double to a Killtac. Mix that in with another door using a fuel rod and you've got a big boom and 7-8 of the multikills there.

Sweep the Leg – Perform an assassination in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1100 cR

Stealth is required, or luck, or an unaware opponent. All you need to do is be up high and unseen, pounce on them at the right time. Another good a way is to run up behind a guy when there's a fight going on. Even better if the person they're fighting has Active camo activated. Anything that keeps their eyes away from the motion tracker is a bonus.

That's all, I'll be up with the weekly, shortly.

Sunday, December 26, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 26/12/2010

Morning all, apparently it's a Sunday. This means it's your last chance to get the weekly challenge.

Shootin’ and Lootin’ – Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach – 1500 cR

Kill 150 enemies however you want. I'm going to guess that after the rest challenges you'll still be short. Plan of action, use that time to grab some extra waves.

A Great Friend – Earn 15 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking – 2000 cR

Always easier when you team up with a friend. Co-ordinate attacks so that you remove the shield and your friend can get the final shot in. Weilding a Plasma Pistol while your friend has a headshot capable weapon (Or even the rockets) can work well, this enables that even if they have armour lock, you can get a quick kill in before they use it.

Headshot Honcho – Kill 9 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1700 cR

Somewhat tricky, Snipers & Swat are good gametypes here but even then you'll require a fair chunk of luck. To get 18%of the kills in a game isn't to much but you can fall behind or miss out on the action. Plus, all those kills must be headshots. Play it safe, play from a distance.

Iron With Friends – Complete a Campaign mission co-op on Heroic or harder with the Iron Skull on – 1750 cR

Grab a friend and charge through, Winter Contingency. Hug the right cliff when you first meet the Covenant and keep hugging the right until you reach the bottom of the map with the troopers. Once you've done that, assist in wiping out all the enemies and when you get to the next part, just hide in the structure. When conflict is finally unavoidable. It's Grunts & Jackals. Grenade to get them when they group and finaly let one person grab a Plasma Pistol before entering the final room. Then it's just a case of finishing off the final Elites. Pistol/DMR headshot after a Plasma Bolt will wipe them up quickly.

That's all, enjoy your leftovers and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 25/12/2010

Merry Christmas guys. I know many of you are busy but to those who do have spare time, here are the challenges.

Where There's Smoke... - Kill 50 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000 cR

1 game of Scoreattack to blitz through and you're done.

A Friend in Need - Earn 5 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1300 cR

Assists, you know what to do. Damage them then let someone else finish them off. If you shoot a turret once with a sniper in Sniperfight then let someone else finish it off, that's 1 assist. Shield popping, also try to would some targets in the area of an artillery strikes.

Return of the Mack - Kill 35 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 1700 cR

You can either pick an Elite heavy mission such as the final part of Long Night of Solace or you can play Lone wolf time after time. The weapons on the level will aid you for a good 10 - 15 kills.

Foggy Notion - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic with Cloud and Famine on. - 1400 cR

You guessed it. Winter Contingency. The mission, like I said yesterday, is just perfect. You can do most of it without firing a weapon and the enemies are in places that are obvious.

There we have it, have a good day folks, Merry Christmas and Equal merriment to all who don't celebrate or celebrate something different. Have a grand day.

Friday, December 24, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 24/12/2010

Good day, Good morning. Been up most of the night so a bit tired. Let's do this quickly.

More than a Handful – Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1750 cR

Explanation it gives is really all you need.

A Great Friend – Earn 15 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking – 2000 cR

Another common one. The shield pop, the Plasma Pistol Overcharge, the Melee. By now you should have a basic understanding on assists. Best way to do it is to buddy up with 1 or more people and co-ordinate attacks. Alternatively, leave it to Multi Team. Make a kill steal in that. 15 assists over the day, not so bad.

Light Fuse, Run Away – Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1000 cR

If you don't get the reference you need to go back and play some Halo CE before you do anything else today. 4 Grenades, Just like back in the day, although technically you could head to the armoury and pick up a Rocket Launcher. But whatever. 4 Grenades in 1 game, you just need to weaken them a bit then get the grenade near their them. Often works best when they're distracted or with a sticky grenade.

I Need Some Ammo – Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic or harder with the Famine Skull on – 2000 cR

Well with Famine there won't be much to go around. Once again I'll say it, Winter Contingency. It's just such a perfect mission for these challenges. You start off with more ammo than you need and you can just blitz past most of it without firing or getting hit.

There's your lot for today. Have fun out there guys.

Thursday, December 23, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 23/12/2010

Firefight Thursday, a good day to work on the weekly is you want to get a boost.

Blastin’ and Relaxin’ – Kill 500 enemies in any game mode in Reach – 2500 cR

Although this challenge doesn't need to be done in Firefight, 5 games, 25 waves and you'll have this challenge done. Not hard, just kill, like you do normally and get a massive boost to the weekly.

A Friend in Need – Earn 10 assists in Firefight Matchmaking – 2000 cR

Assists, team up with a friend (or 3 for best game connection results), and work together to get the challenge.

Heroic Demon – Kill 20 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking on Heroic or harder – 2000 cR

Kill 20 Elites, can't explain it any other way really. They'll spawn in the last wave of Scoreattack & Sniperattack. Sniperattack will give you 4-12 Elites to kill.

Blast Radius – Kill 40 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with Grenades - 1800 cR

Throw some grenades in the mix and get kills with them. Corvettes monster rooms are good for this. Also if you can get them just as they spawn.

There we go, that be all for today. Time to go off and do some more Christmas Shopping. Bye.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 22/12/2010

Morning, how be ye all today? More Challenges for today, Bits in Campaign, Firefight & Multiplayer, so let's get started:

One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1500 cR

Start up some Firefight, you've got 15 Waves there to add to the weekly and with all the enemies you can easily nab 150 kills. If you're still a bit short, play another round or head into Scoreattack.

No 'I' in Team - Earn 8 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1560 cR

An odd cR amount but whatever. 8 assists is hard to do when you're not aiming for it. Remember, this has to be in 1 game. Do what you can to co-ordinate with your team members.

Above the Neckline - Kill 3 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000 cR

3 Headshots in a single game is rather Tame. You can do it in Invasion as the time given in the game and the first run up to the objectives both help you here (Boneyard especially). You could also, play a game of Snipers/SWAT, as they are both headshot orientated gametypes.

Cannon Fodder - Kill 75 infantry-class foes in the Campaign today. - 1750 cR

Winter Contingency. Plough through all the enemies in that mission (Skip out the Elites if you want) and once you reach the Falcon you should be done/almost done. It won't take more than 10 mins on Normal.

There we have it for today. Hope you guys picked up on the large amount of cR there was yesterday and as Christmas dawns I wonder what challenges they'll have for us on that day. Bye.

Tuesday, December 21, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 21/12/2010

Bit late but nothing here you don't know how to do. Certainly a grindfest today though. So lets go.

Shootin’ and Lootin’ – Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach – 2500 cR

You can get this doing one of the others. Or if you don't get that, just go and kill.

Stronger, Harder – Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic with Famine, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm on – 2750 cR

2 words, Leg, It. We've had this one many a time now and the best way to do it is to just stick it on Winter contingency and just charge through the whole level.

Fortified Court – Kill 1000 enemies on Courtyard in Firefight Matchmaking – 3500 cR

Here's the grinding. 1000 enemies is the equivalent to 9 games of Scoreattack. That's a lot of waves by the way. This challenge will set you just under or on the half way mark for the weekly. (if you need an extra game). It's not challenging, just keep choosing none of the above until you get Courtyard, then go out & have fun.

Go Right Ahead Folks – Earn a First Strike in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1250 cR

I can't really help here. If you have a group team then yeah that'll help but the only way to get this medal is to just be quick. Grab Sprint or Jet pack and find the first kill first. Zombies can work well, provided you can get the first Magnum snipe off.

There we have it, NOthing there really challenging, it's either a case of Speed or Grinding. With that I leave you now. Have fun.

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 20/12/2010 Ride the Wave

Ride the Wave

Ride the Wave - Complete 100 Waves in Firefight Matchmaking. - 4000 cR

Well, this is rather easy, 100 waves isn't that many games of Firefight. You spend around 25 mins in Firefight for 15 waves. So that's 7 Games. You can do a Firefight a day and be good. Or you can do a bunch in one day, today would be a good day as there isn't much on the Challenging side.

Alternatively, 20 games of Scoreattack, Gruntpocolypse sure does fly on Corvette. No matter what you choose this isn't the hardest weekly by far. Do it how you want and have fun.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 20/12/2010

Today is a good day. We got the Minecraft Beta out today. It's not out yet but remember this, People who buy the Alpha get free upgrades for life. People who arrive in the Beta will have to pay. Grab it while you can. Also, a new weekly challenge has appeared. But first, The Daily Challenges and I must say. Nothing Challenging here today.

Home Field Advantage - Win 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1800 cR

Win 4 games. That's all. To win games, partner up with people who are better than you or be good yourself. I'll let you sort it out.

Gunslinger - Kill 40 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000 cR

Within those games you won I'm assuming you got a kill or 2 at some point. Continue doing that until you have 40 of them.

Demon - Kill 20 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2500 cR

Nab the Elites from your friends in Firefight or wait it out and get 4-12 of them in Scoreattack & Sniperfight. Take your pick.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000 cR

The combination of the wins and other challenges (more so the Firefight one) will give you much more than is needed.

That's it for today. I know easy starts to the week are nice but this is a tad too easy. Easy credits in the run up to Christmas. Have fun, Weekly will be up shortly.

Sunday, December 19, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 19/12/2010

Still Lots of Snow. More annoying today as I'd like to go somewhere. Anyway, Challenges, all Campaign & Firefight today:

One Spartan Army – Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking – 2500 cR

3 Games of Scoreattack will get you this. Any version of Scoreattack will do. It's just killing

A Friend in Need – Earn 10 assists in Firefight Matchmaking – 2000 cR

Pick a friend up and go together into Firefight, make sure you call out targets and work together. If you go in by yourself, you can spend 30 mins and get only 2 assists.

There are Many Like… – Kill 100 enemies with precision weapons in the Campaign today – 1000 cR

Start ONI Sword Base, the level spawns you with a DMR and on the Catwalk on the left, at the far back there is a Sniper. Restart mission when you're out of ammo, repeat.

Roast ‘em, Toast ‘em – Kill 10 enemies while jet-packing in Exodus on Normal – 1200 cR

Just hold down the equipment button while killing an enemy. It doesn't matter how you kill them, you can hold down equipment and melee and it'll still count. Just start at mission rally point Alpha and head on your way.

There we have it, once again, nothing really tricky, just time consuming and easy. Have fun and remember it's the last day for the weekly.

Saturday, December 18, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 18/12/2010

Morning all. Today, lost of Snow :D. Also, Challenges so let's go.

Gunslinger – Kill 100 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1000 cR

Go into Multiplayer matchmaking and kill 100 enemies. Just decided to try re-phrasing it for those who didn't get it.

Demon – Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking – 1200 cR

40 Elites isn't hard, what is hard is working out the fastest & best way t odo it. Firefight will give you a bunch of them but with 4 other people, what are the chances of getting most of them though. Overall, Sniper attack will give you between 4-12 Elites. Luck of the draw really.

Fourth Horseman – Earn 4 multikills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1900 cR

Luck & Skill required. No good at being a good killer if there's no one else to kill. You need Chaos, you need Multi Team, you'll also need to find the luck you need to get all 4 multikills in 1 game.

Stronger, Harder – Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic with Famine, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm on – 2750 cR

Any mission you want. A lack of ammo and the agility to dodge your grenades are pointless, when you don't fight back. Just run, I suggest winter Contingency as that'll be over in under 15 mins. Remember, Legendary A.I., Heroic everything else.

There we have it. On a side note, I managed to do Mostly at night in 32 mins. I have a walkthrough in the making and screen shots & a video to go with it. I just felt ill last night and wasn't up for it. So yeah, that'll go on the pile. Cya later.

Solo Legendary - Mostly at Night Walkthrough

Mission: Nightfall
Objective: Solo Completion without dying
Weapons of Choice: Sniper & Needle Rifle/DMR (For the most part)
Armour Ability: Active Camo

Photobucket
"I threw that"

This mission started off on a bad foot. In my attempts to be sneaky, I decided to go around assassinating the Elite up top, followed by the Grunts on the right who are on the ledge, before jumping down to assassinate the Elite. Jun, feeling a bit left out, decided his plan of action was to throw a grenade into the mix. There went my stealth. After killing all the remain enemies, grab the Camo before moving on.

Photobucket
"That's not the me you're looking for"

From your vantage point take out as many Elites as you can. Don't stay Invisible & scoped for too long. Take out one specific Elite, you could of kick the Nest of a bunch of Suicide Grunts. Not pretty. There is also an invisible Elite with a Focus Rifle, mix it up using both Hologram & Camo at the same time. This will enable you find enemies by tracing back the plasma while staying hidden. Once a large enough portion of enemies are removed it's time to move on.

Photobucket
"The Elite can still see me"

Move along the right hand side of the first area and jump into the building using the railing. This gives you cover and forces Jun to walk around the outside causing some damage to the remain enemies. Move on up towards the next staging area. When out, there will be an Elite Minor up top. Killing him will set off 1 or 2 Suicide Grunts so watch out. Remain hidden and stay back. Keep to the right side and up high, if you need you can retreat to from where you came. After killing all the enemies here, a Grunt & Jackal will move up, kill them and move on.

Photobucket
"A new star in the night"

As you reach the clearing, stay left and jump up on top of the rocks. From here you can get a good vantage point and the Gúta can't reach you. Let the Gúta do most of the damage as they will 99/100 times kill all the covenant in the area. The Covies may even bring one down with any luck. Small tip for dealing with them, 1 Plasma Grenade is all it takes to kill them. In this area there is a stach of Needle Rifles, Replace the pistol & move on.

Photobucket
"Long range protection"

When you reach the Marines protecting their equipment, I hate to say it but they're all going to die. To take on 3 waves of Covenant on Legendary & survive, you need much more than 3 marines. So to keep it short an sweet, you punch a hole in the covenants attack on the left hand side, kill a few Elites then run, up onto the ledge, past the bridge and off towards the beacon.

Photobucket
"Just a distraction"

When approaching the beacon, stay stealthy, take out as many of the enemy as you can without firing a shot. When it's finally a necessity to shoot, let Jun once again take the brunt. Stay hidden and don't engage an Elite in close combat unless it really is necessary. Try an blend in, go for the assassination if possible. Once Jun starts setting the explosive device, run back across the bridge. If you find ammo a bit short, keep running in the direction you can in on, there'll be a DMR. Take out the Hunters as your first target. If one of those Fuel Rod explosions hits Jun, he can be blasted of the edge. There goes Mr. Invincible. So once they're taken out you're mostly done as Jun will take out most of the others. Now for the final stretch.

Photobucket
"A little sooner would have been nice"

Take out the gunner on the Phantom as you enter the gate then you're free to take out the Grunts & Jackals with 1 less major problem. Once they've been taken out. Move on up and locate the first gun emplacement. Take out the grunt inside of it but leave it active. Grunts are drawn towards it and it's a good way to locate them. When you move up though, be sure to destroy it. If it becomes active again and you back pedal, you'll be dead before you realise it. Slowly move up and locate the next gun emplacement.

Photobucket
"All my health for nothing"

Do as you did with the last turret and keep pushing up. There'll be 3 Zealots and 2 Rangers will join the fight along the stone "Bridge". Keep pushing forwards while invisible to bring Jun up with you, then quickly fall back and let him take the brute force. While they're distracted take that moment to finish them off. Extra side note, if an elite is in the turret, if the turret blows up he will die. Very useful if a Spec-Ops Elite (4 Bullets to kill) gets in a damaged turret. Once the area is clear move up once again to the final stretch. There are a few Grunts and Jackals here and the last thing you want to do is die now, so be careful and activate the cutscene.

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=11283557&player=Shadow5talker04

The accompanying video is here for download. I won't say follow it exactly as it won't always work. Just be careful and don't die. Have fun instead.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 17/12/2010

Little late today as I have more computer woes. So I'll keep this short & sweet.

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1500 cR

You get this one, by doing the other challenges really.

Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4000 cR

That's a lotta cR. But seriously, you know what to do, assist your team mate(s) by coordinating attacks, run in, get a few quicks hits in to wound them then run off as a distraction. Your team gets a kill, you get an assist.

Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 100 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500 cR

Assault Rifle, Needle, Plasma Repeater. These are the weapons of choice for this challenge as they are the ones that are automatic weapons.

Mostly at Night - Complete Nightfall on Legendary without dying. - 5000 cR

There is a tonne of cR to be got today. This one will be tricky but I know now how to do it. A walk through will be written and up before I sleep tonight. Still though, as a quick heads up. Stay back, grab camo and let Jun do most of the heavy lifting. Pick up a needle rifle where possible. That 3 hit boom will be useful.

That's it for now. I'll get that walk through written up when I get home, 6 hours from now. So see you all in a few hours, bye.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 16/12/2010

Once again, good morning. Today is Thursday and as such there are a few Firefight Challenges here today. Slightly drawing you away from the weekly but I'll let you guys tackle what you want.

Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1250 cR

As per usual we have one of these challenges. Go out and kill in the MP in whatever way you feel. Garb a few Multi-Kills while you're at it.

Covenant-cide - Kill 90 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000 cR

1 game of score attack although you may need 2 for the rest of the challenges. No real mess, no real fuss.

Blast Radius - Kill 20 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with grenades. - 1400 cR

Title tells it all. Get yourself on Score attack though. Sniperattack doesn't allow for grenade pick up.

That Pink Mist - Kill 40 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000 cR

Nor does it allow for weapon pick up. So Gruntpocolypse will get you most of the way. May want to play some regular Scoreattack though.

Back to being busy. have fun guys.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 15/12/2010

Good 'morrow. Welcome back. Today I be very tired. Company party. Was fun if tiring. So now let's get on with this:

More than a Handful – Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1250 cR

You know what to do, go on out there and get it, by getting the other challenges.

Pass the Rock – Earn 20 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking – 2500 cR

Now, last time this challenge was out, there was a small "problem" each time you died in a matchmaking game, this challenge would disable itself till the end of the game. If it does this again this time, I don't know, may need to get someone to confirm that for me. If so, the best way would be to team up. Grab a plasma pistol in invasion (Provided you're Elite first) and use it to remove shields, letting your partner take them out. Keep yourself alive.

Weapon Swap – Earn 10 sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game on Heroic or harder – 1000 cR

Sprees can be tricky. The best thing to do in my opinion, is to get a Sniperattack on a level with vehicles. 15 Sniper kills & 15 Splatters = 6 Medals. Mix that in with 100 kills for another 5 killing spree medals and you've got a challenge.

Killing Spree – Earn a Killing Spree in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1500 cR

Stay out of the main action, help from afar, or Grab a Banshee/Scorpion/Wraith. These are the main ways to get a killing spree. Te ability to give out as much damage as you can while protecting yourself as much as possible. The Sword is another good way, provided you don't take on someone with an armour lock. It's quite fun taking someone out who as the sword with a quick jab.

So there we have it, Not overly challenging but not a cake walk. If someone could get back to me about Pass the Rock the would be fantastic. Till ten, or tomorrow, have fun.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 14/12/2010

Morning, back again. some good challenges today. 6000 cR to get in some challenges with nicely rounded cR amounts. So let's go.

Shootin' and Lootin - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000 cR

Kill 100 things for 1000 cR. That's 10 a pop. Doesn't matter where you kill them though you may want to combine it with the other challenges.

Gunslinger - Kill 40 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000 cR

Kill 40 of them in Matchmaking and you'll get a nice boost to S'n'L.

Who's the Big Winner? - Win 10 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000 cR

I'm sure you can get 40 kills within those 10 wins. Not much need for me today. These challenges are grindworthy but not overly challenging.

Just a Shower - Complete any Campaign mission on Normal or harder with Thunderstorm on. - 2000 cR

Not even this one is challenging. Thunderstorm ranks up the enemies so they're a little harder to contend with. Even with that though, on normal that doesn't make it as hard as heroic. Charge through any level guns blazing or Run it, it makes no difference. If you die, so what, back to the checkpoint. Defiantly worth the cR.

No real challenge today, it's just a case of having the time needed. I don't so I'll only be getting 2/3 tonight. Still a good result. So have fun and keep working towards that weekly challenge. That won't come easy.

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 13/12/2010 Multiplicative

Multiplicative

Multiplicative - Earn 200 Multikills in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. - 5000 cR

200 multikills. That may not seem like many but I bet you don't get many Multikills per game. Multikills require you to kill 2 or more enemies with less than 4 seconds between each kill. Those 4 seconds can go quite quickly. I'm going to say this is a Multi-Team week. Best chance at getting Multikills. Remember to always look for two people fighting and to finish them off. A grenade, headshots, doesn't matter.

Also remember that they stack. A double kill is worth 1 Multi-Kill, a Triple kill is an extra one on top. It's going to be a long week, make sure you put the effort in early. If it comes down to the wire, you may miss your chance.

Definatly one you want to chip away at. So go forth and get those Multikills.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 13/12/2010

Good morning on this rather foggy Monday. Bit of a Slow day at work. Then again, first day back from the apprenticeship after 4 assignments, going to need a bit of time to readjust. Anyway, challenges are here, got a good start if a bit repetitive today.

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1500 cR

Kill 150 enemies in anyway you see fit or however they some during the other challenges.

Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4000 cR

We had this yesterday, so go a head and do whatever you did yesterday again today. You know, Shield popping and all that stuff.

Watersports - Kill 50 enemies on Waterfront on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 600 cR

Stick yourself on Scoreattack and keep saying none of the above untill Waterfront pops up. Then, Scoreattack, Mythic Attack, Sniperattack or Gruntpocolypse. Take your pick and go kill.

Twin Trips - Earn 2 Triple Kills in the same match in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 500 cR

Seem a rather low amount for this challenge. Triple kills are rather hard to get. The ability to take on 3 full health enemies in Halo and beat them all, without the use of power weapons and/or grenades is tough. Even in multi Team you'll be hard pressed to get them all. However, living dead may just be your option. If 3 enemies rush you, you can quite easily take them out with well placed shotgun & pistol shots. You just need to hope you last long enough and don't get a bulltrue where the sword still kills you (annoying).

That's Monday's Dailies for you. Check back after lunch for the weekly challenge.

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 12/12/2010

Sunday again. Last chance for the weekly challenge. Remember, the walkthrough with added video can be found in the side bar (also how to do Iron with friends)---->

Quick note, yesterdays side challenge... didn't go so well. I've got most of the stuff figured out but soloing is much harder than I was expecting.

The other challenges for today aren't any major problem. Secondary fire may take some time to get but other than that, all easy, we even have Iron with Friends back from Monday.

More than a Handful – Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1250 cR

Go ahead and have fun in Multiplayer.

Secondary Fire – Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking – 4000 cR

Use the plasma Pistols, Melee, and other shield poppers. Go ahead and do a bit more damage to them too but make sure someone else finishes them off. Always best done in a group of at least 2.

Iron With Friends – Complete a Campaign mission co-op on Heroic or harder with the Iron Skull on – 1750 cR

Back from Monday, this challenge is very easy. Heroic isn't a hard difficulty and there are 2 of you. There's no extra rules such as no dying or time limit so just take it carefully. Or run straight through, up to you.

Above the Neckline – Kill 5 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1250 cR

Half of Neuroscience, 5 headshots in 1 game. SWAT & Snipers are your main gametypes here. Certainly possible in other gametypes but these ones focus on the head.

That be all for this week. Till tomorrow, have fun.

Saturday, December 11, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 11/12/2010

Computer Problems, Yeay. This thing really needs upgrades. Anyway, Onwards:

Blastin’ and Relaxin’ – Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach – 2000 cR

Kills stuff however you feel like, provided it's in Reach.

Covenant-cide – Kill 90 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking – 1000 cR

1 game of Scoreattack, you will be done.

Mostly at Night – Complete Nightfall on Legendary without dying – 5000 cR

Always a troublesome one. If you can send a bunch of friends ahead of you to clear the way, go for it. If not, I'll get a walkthrough for you later. When I've completed it... If I complete it.

That Pink Mist – Kill 70 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking – 1000 cR

Rather self explanatory again.

Done & Done, well almost, give me a few hours to get a walkthrough up. Till then, bye.

Friday, December 10, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 10/12/2010

Morning all. Time for some more challenges. Today is a nice big pay off for, not really that much work. Let's have a look.

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2500 cR

Kill one, Kill all, in this exciting game.

Helping Hand - Earn 10 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1600 cR

Plasma Pistols, Sniper Body Shots, Armour Locks and the Melee Punch. All your friend today.

Inclement Weather - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic or harder with the Thunderstorm Skull on. - 1500 cR

The skull ranks enemies up, so plan of action, leg it. Winter Contingency is once again, the best level.

A Solid Outing - Earn at least 15 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3000 cR

Go Multi-Team, in slayer matches it's first team to 50, so that's 25ish a piece. Very likely to get this one. Aim for the objective games too. Longer lasting so more bang for your Buck.

That be all for now. Back to the final stretch of work. Bye.

Thursday, December 9, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 09/12/2010

Busy again, mainly becasue I want to do this next assignment quickly. I'm almost finished, then it's smooth sailing. So let's talk Reach. More specificly, Firefight Thursday.

One Spartan Army – Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking – 2000 cR

Very simple, play a few games of Scoreattack, don't aim for this one as you'll get the kills going for the other ones.

Supporting Role – Earn 20 assists in Firefight Matchmaking – 1100 cR

You know how to assist, so go do it.

Points, Points – Score 20,000 points in a Firefight Matchmaking game – 2500 cR

Sniperattack on Beach Head will give you the points needed. Getting the 100 Kill Spree, The Vehicles play a vital roll in the Splatter Sprees and the Sniper Sprees will come naturally. You'll get the challenge at the end of the 4th wave/beginning of the 5th.

That Pink Mist – Kill 20 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking – 1650 cR

Title tells it all. Grab Pink and fire away. Brutes fall very easily to needler/Needle Rifle rounds. Just remember, this needs to be done on Regular Firefight, Mythic Attack or Gruntpocolypse as Sniperattack doesn't allow you to pick up weapons.

There we have it, another Firefight Thursday. Personally Firefight Friday sounds better but whatever. Have fun out there. HHF

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 08/12/2010

I'm so Busy, Oh So Busy *End Song* So once again I'll be keeping it short. Can't wait till these assignments are over.

One Spartan Army – Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. 2500 cR

2 Scoreattacks will leave you very close to completing this. If you can't be bothered with another round, try out Firefight Doubles. That'll push you over the edge... If they count towards it. Something for me to test.

Double Double – Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. 1200 cR

Grab a partner and enter some Multi-Team. Or Play Some solo Rumble Pit. Find Two people in combat and take all the spoils. Grab power weapons, anything you need to function.

Oops! All Kills – Earn 25 Multikills in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1200 cR

What you did for Double Double, keep doing it. Remember, a Double counts as 1, a Triple kill is an extra 1 on top and so forth.

Gunslinger – Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking . 1250 cR

Kill 75 people in Multiplayer. Hardly Challenging at all.

That be all today. All challenges be easy to get. Multikills may take a bit but they're certainly not impossible. Have fun in the madness.

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 07/12/2010

More busy work & I have no break, so let's do this quick:

Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1500 cR

Do you really need my help for this? Multi-team is where the big kills are. Beyond that, Up to you.

A Great Friend - Earn 15 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1400 cR

Plasma Pistols, Melees, Armour Lock EMPs & Sniper Body shots. The quick way to get an assist.

Cannon Fodder - Kill 50 infantry-class foes in the Campaign today. 1000 cR

I'm not 100% sure what an infantry class is but in each group of enemies there will be a leader and the rest will be infantry. Go for the grunts & Jackals. It's only 50 kills so shouldn't take long.

Heroic Demon - Kill 30 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking on Heroic or harder. 1500 cR

You can either kill the Elites in Firefight, snatching them from your allies, possibly try out the Firefight Doubles, or play Scoreattack and slowly work your way up with that.

Done and Done, remember, that weekly challenge is very easy, a link to it is in the side bar. Have fun.

Monday, December 6, 2010

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 06/12/2010 Not in the Face

Not in the Face - Complete any Campaign mission on Heroic in 30 minutes with Black Eye on. 4000 cR

Haha, welcome all. Guess this is what happens when they re-do a challenge. On the side bar to your right you'll see a little link to the current weekly. It's a bit more updated. (23rd May)

Update down a couple of paragraphs.

I hope you brought your punching hands and running boot because that's what you'll be needing. Black eye means that your shield won't recharge unless you're punching an enemy. It is however on Heroic so getting up close is something you really don't want to do. To those who gamed while health packs were the only way to get health this will be nothing new. The time limit however may cause some problems. 30 minutes is not a long time. The only mission I can think of this being possible on is Winter Contingency.

It's not that much of a problem, we've got the whole week to figure this one out. I'll be experimenting and giving you a walk-through when I complete it myself. Go out there and do what you can. Remember, you can die, so just play through to the end. You may find routes better suited for this challenge.

Bye all, have a grand day.

UPDATE: Played Co-op Winter Contingency doing both the Monday Daily (Co-Op Iron) & Black Eye Skull. Just me and 1 other Friend. We ran 90% of the mission. We only had 1 revert and we completed it in under 15 mins. So there you have it, easy stuff.

Walk through:

Start off and get to the window, don't fire, just charge right on through and head either left along the bridge all the way up through the hut and over the rocks, or right, over the house and across the river.

When you get to the vehicles, head right to trigger the actions then make camp at the marines area. Wipe out the Elites from range with the Pistol/DMR. Move in and give a Grunt a tap if you need some shields. Shoot him once to stun him.

Jump into the Falcon and wipe out the first group with grenades. After, let Carter & Jorge do the heavy lifting, help out from cover when needed.

When inside, grab a DMR & Plasma Pistol. Grunts & Jackals will go down no problem with a few helpful grenades. Take out the Grunts in the final room as they exit the little corner box. Plasma Pistol the Elites and finish with a Headshot. Bam, you're done.

If you dislike to read or are still confused, this video in my file share is the take me and my friend did. You can watch me be an idiot and forget there's one more wave at the river.

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=10813665&player=Shadow5talker04

There we go, a seemingly complex challenge, made easy.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 06/12/2010

Sorry I'm late, I had a good weekend and was up for 40 hours in a row. That is not important though. What is, are Challenges. We've got a bit of everything today so let's do this.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 90 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1000 cR

Simple

A Friend in Need - Earn 10 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Don't kill them, just wound them. As always, best done when you're with a partner, call out targets to each other.

Roast 'em, Toast 'em - Kill 35 enemies while jet-packing in Exodus on Normal. 1500 cR

Start at Rally Point Alpha. Take the Jet-pack and use Grenades, Rockets and Melee to get to the part where you have to climb up to get to the Landing pad. From there, skip all the climbing and just jet-pack up. Kill the grunts as they come out and steal the Fuel Rod. Now have fun.

Iron With Friends - Complete a Campaign mission co-op on Heroic or harder with the Iron Skull on. 1750 cR

All you need to do is be cautious. Dying with Iron makes you revert to the last checkpoint. With two of you though, work together to combine fire and cause distractions where needed. Play it smart.

That's all for now. The Weekly will come soon but I'm going to need to put a bit of research into that. Till then, have fun.

Sunday, December 5, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 05/12/2010

Good morning, or afternoon. Who knows any more, I've been up for 24 hours and I've still got 13 more to power through. Today the pattern continues and it's time to power through these multiplayer challenges, not such an easy run today. More grinding.

More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR

Same as yesterday, so do it again today.

Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 77 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1900 cR

The Assault Rifle & Needler are your friends, I know the AR normally leaves you in the best spot for melee to finish, so try from a distance and feather the trigger. Now, the Needler on the other hands, go nuts. Tracking and exploding = Med distance fun.

... Got a Triple Double - Earn 3 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. 1500 cR

Time to enter the Chaotic fray of Multi-Team & Rumble Pit. Find those 2 people fighting and just finish them off. Or take your time and locate some enemies together. A grenade to soften up and hose them down.

Who's the Big Winner? - Win 10 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 2000 cR

If you didn't see something like this coming, I don't know what to say. So win 10 games. Not hard but luck can be against you, or your own skill. Just play till you win, then do it some more.

That's it, I'm off to enjoy the rest of today, have fun with the challenges and get that weekly.

Saturday, December 4, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 04/12/2010

More multiplayer games today. Nice that most of the challenges relate to the weekly. 2 more days to get that remember so start pushing for those kills.

You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 12 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1000 cR

12 Kills with precision weapons in 1 matchmaking game, for team slayer and such this can be difficult, you'd need to get 25% of the kills all with only the DMR, Sniper, Needle Rifle or Focus Rifle. The best thing to do is enter Invasion for the long rounds or Multi Team/Arena Doubles so that the kills needed are 50 and there's only 2 of you.

Home Field Advantage - Win 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 2500 cR

I hope you people are noticing this pattern we've had this week. So yeah, this time you need to win 7 games. Play what you're good at and avoid multi-team (Unless you happen to be really good at it).

More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR

You know what to do, while playing your games, get some kills and get this challenge.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 2000 cR

As it will lead onto this one. This one can be done in any game mode and you'll have that boost of 125 kills minimum from the last challenges.

That's it, go out and have fun and make sure you close the gap for the weekly. I'm off to play some Halo Reach now, bye.

Friday, December 3, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 03/12/2010

It's Friday so the weekend is almost here. Time for some Reach Challenges:

More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR

I'm fairly sure we all know how to get this one by now.

Single Wield - Earn {requird_count} kills with small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR

The "{requird_count}" on the website is also known as 30 kills. So Pistols are what you need.

Vengeance Found - Earn your 'Revenge' in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1150 cR

Like last time with this, you need to kill him who killed you. Like I said last time, a large chaotic match can drastically reduce the chances but an Arena doubles game will give you a 50% chance.

Five-time Champ - Win 5 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 2750 cR

Even more Multiplayer games. This time rather than just playing them, you need to win them. Any gametype counts and it's only 5 so go out and have fun.

That's it for today, have fun and keep warm, it's bloody freezing in my room.

Thursday, December 2, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 02/12/2010

Sorry I'm late. The net has been down at work so I've been stranded and bored. all is well now, although I don't think that's too much of a problem. The challenges this week so far have been very straight forward and today is no exception. 3 Multiplayer challenges and 1 ambiguous one. Let's go:

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 3000 cR

Kill some evil things then kill them some more.

Neuroscience - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1200 cR

Headshots, best game types are ones that benifit greatly from them, SWAT & Snipers. If you're not good at getting the headshots, play a long objective game such as invasion and stick with the DMR/Needle Rifle.

Light Fuse, Run Away - Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1000 cR

4 things to blow up with grenades, can't help but feel a bit of Deja Vu. Well anyway, 1 game to get them in, just spam them where needed, or aim, Plasma sticks are good for a near definite kill.

Credits for Completion - Complete 5 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1500 cR

So far this week we've been awarded points for finishing 3 & 4 games. Now 5. C'mon people, it isn't hard.

That's it. Time to get back to tedious work. You guys have fun. Bye.

December 1st 2010

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 01/12/2010

Late again, as this course gets more and more annoying. Now way we can finish this work in time. I can get you the challenges though, as out of sync this PC clock is.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 90 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1000 cR

Kill 90 things that are bad in any way and anywhere in Reach.

Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Shoot a plasma Pistol and let your partner finish them off in invasion or Elite Slayer. Very quick as all weapons are there ready for you.

Sticky Icky Icky - Earn 5 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1625 cR

Elite Slayer & Invasion again. Plasma Grenades are easy to come by and best used in close combat. Must be done in 1 game, remember that.

Credits for Completion - Complete 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1500 cR

Don't quit and keep playing, that's all you need to do.

Challenges today, very simple, not challenging Challenges at all. Have fun getting them. Back to work for me. Bye.

Happy 1st of December.

Tuesday, November 30, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 30/11/2010

Morning, late as usual. Work has been a rather annoying Roller-coaster so far this week. I'm not one to let you go without something though as easy as today is, so let's get right in as always:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 2000 cR

Killing all those enemies in any game mode is very easy, with all the Multiplayer challenges today though I'd say stick with it. Work on that Weekly challenge.

T-Hug It Out - Kill 4 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1100 cR

Punch them, Stab them, Hammer them or Shoot them with a Shotgun. Do it 4 times in 1 game.

Double Double - Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. 1350 cR

Very easy to get in Rumble Pit/Multi Team. Pick off 2 guys who are fighting and there we have it.

Participation Counts - Complete 3 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1300 cR

Log in, play 3 games, don't even need to win.

That's all for today. Back to work. I really could sleep.

Solo Legendary - Deathless Spear Walkthrough

O.K. Guys, I'm back with some helpful hints on how to stay alive on Legendary. Tip of the Spear. Most parts of this level you can just waltz right on by and ignore combat, do that where possible. When combat is needed though, I'm here to help.

It's a level that starts off with a lot of guys to kill and 2 very powerful Fuel Rod Turrets. The best thing to do is start off slow though. Take out as many Grunts & Jackals as you can, leave the Elite for now. Use liberal lashings of Grenade Launch to wipe them out. When it comes to the Turrets they'll always be manned by Grunts so go ahead and use the DMR to pick them off. Once the turrets are out of the picture you're free to work on the Elite without fear. Pick up a Plasma Pistol and overload his shield. DMR to the head and you're all done. Bring the Plasma Pistol or Grenade Launcher, You'll need the EMP.

Photobucket

Now you'll receive the Rocket Hog. Take it and drive to the AA turret. First thing to do is drive round the back so you're at the far side. Once there, get to the small hill and hop on the Launcher. Wait till the Revenant shows its face, DO NOT DESTROY IT, steal it and after jumping from Vehicle to Vehicle, give it to Kat. Having 2 vehicles will split the enemies attention. While She goes and annoys the troops, you turn that Launcher towards the AA gun and unleash hell upon it. 8 Volleys will do and you'll destroy it without even needing to get close.

Photobucket

Move back round to where you started on the other side of the AA Gun. Take the path that takes you round the side where the AA gun is, watching out for the Ghosts that still remain. Then, when you head round towards the Wraith, if you gave Kat the Revenant she'll be there distracting it so you and your gunner can finish it off.

Photobucket

Moving on to the base, at a distance, once again pepper the area with Rockets as to take out the turrets. Moving on to the base, pick up a Needle Rifle, Plasma Pistol & Hologram. Moving through, there are 2 Elites before the Zealot. One will be a Major rank, the other, a Minor. The Major will be near the long stretch, the Minor on the mini turret at the end. Use the Hologram to lure the major directly away from you. Pop the shields and nab a headshot. The Minor can only see down the main part of the hall. Hide behind the Pillars to get close enough and throw a Plasma Grenade on him to sort him out.

Now, as you approach the Zealot, there'll be a courtyard with a few Grunts & Jackals. Take them out with the Needle Rifle before moving up the Ramp to take him on. As usual for Elites, Plasma Pistol Charged bolt for the shields and Needle to the Head. As you head down, pick up the Plasma Launcher and drop the Plasma Pistol. Drive the Revenant to the drop off and kill the Jackals. Then, Like with the First AA gun, fire upon the Turret with the Vehicle. This will eventually kill it from a safe distance.

Photobucket

Now, the Wraiths are the biggest threat now and the thing to do is to remove the one on the left with the Plasma Launcher. Once that's done, move to the right staying on the other side of the huge wall. Head to the Falcon and pick up the Grenade launcher dropped there. Take out the Grunt in the Turret seat with the Needle Rifle then EMP it to get close enough to destroy it. Then get back in the Revenant and bomb the areas where enemies remain.

Photobucket

Now you have the Falcon ride and this bit will be the part where you can loose it badly. Take the left hand side turret and remember that you have unlimited ammo and these Grenades are really powerful. Don't bother with the EMP function and remember that they don't Arc that much. Fire as soon as you can see something. To hesitate, is to die. There are about 4 AA turrets, a Wraith and a few Grunts & Elites scattered about. Once they're all wiped out you'll move into the Shield.

Photobucket

Grab a Jet pack, Health and Ammo. Take out the Grunts but more importantly the Skirmishers that have the Needle and Focus Rifles. They do a lot of damage. After making sure that most of the Snipers are down, hug the right side wall and Jet Pack over towards the pipes. Get yourself right on top of them and towards the middle. The turrets can't hit you from here. Fly over into the Grav lift and ride it up to the top. There is one Elite with a sword and a bunch of Grunts, 2 with Fuel Rods. Take a Plasma Pistol and any other weapon to deal with them all, use the rest of your grenades. Remember, once the button is pressed, the level is over so you don't need to worry about killing them all.

Photobucket

That's that, Have fun and don't die.

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 29/11/2010 All in a Week's Work

All in a Week's Work - Kill 1000 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. 7777 cR

Like a day's work, only 7 times as much. 1000 enemies is a large amount, I won't lie. The best way is to really take a large chunk out of it every day. 100 at least. 25 is the average kill count in Multi-Team slayer games, objective can vary. Best thing to do is stick with what your good at and if you get a case where it's kill X amount of enemies in any gametype, stick it on Multiplayer. It'll work out better. Have fun and get you're killing gloves on. I'll speak to you guys later.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 29/11/2010

Morning, hope yours is better than mine. Got 99% of the way to work before being told to go home. Best 4 hours 30 mins and £12 of my life so far. However, right now that is the least of our worries (Well mine at least) as we have a Legendary Challenge to do. Let's get started.

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 2500 cR

Very basic, just kill however you want. I suggest leaving it till the end and filling up the remaining kills with Multiplayer.

No 'I' in Team - Earn 10 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1200 cR

10 assists, 1 game. Somewhat of a challenge. You'll need a partner for this one. One of you take a plasma pistol while the other takes any other weapon. You'll need to stick together and coordinate attacks. You only have 5 seconds to get the kill after the damage.

Deathless Spear - Complete Tip of the Spear on Legendary without dying. 1250 cR

Only 1250 cR, usually it's 4000 cR, whatever. So what I'll do is come back to this on a bit later after studding it for a bit. Until I can give an in depth review, the best advice I can say is pick up a partner and let them blaze the trail ahead. The beginning will be troublesome though. As will the Falcon Ride.

I do know of the glitch though, so I'll tell you that if you feel to wimpy. Play through till you reach near the end of the level. End the game and load it back up from that checkpoint. Don't die from there till the end and you'll have the challenge (If that way still works, if not, do it properly)

Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 20 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

And what you do with that Machine Gun or Needler is use it to kill enemies. As the AR/Needler is on of the starter weapons in most game types (Needler for Elite game types) this is very easy, just try and avoid the melee that's so tempting.

That's it for the Daily challenges... Almost. I'll write down a complete list with added video on how to complete the levels on Legendary, as they are needed.

I'll be back for the weekly in an hour or two. Bye.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 28/11/2010

On train, low on time, here's the gist:

Pod Kettle Black - Kill 10 Elite Drop Pods in The Long Night of Solace. 1000 cR

A drop pod is one of the blue things that are shot straight down towards Reach. They look like plasma bullets but don't track and are quite small. Start at Rally Point Alpha.

All of the others are very basic and are just killing things.

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Kill, Kill, Kill. Jump into any gametype you like, multiteam is a good one.

Return of the Mack - Kill 75 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder. 2250cR

Kill, Kill, Kill. Any Level, any weapon, have fun.

Heroic Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking on Heroic or harder. 2000 cR

Scoreattack or Firefight, just grab those kills.

Sorry I can't be more informative but I'll update details later. Have fun guys.

UPDATE: I updated a little. Nothing really worth mentioning. Had a good day on the site and had a brilliant weekend in York. I don't see any more breaks in the future so it's smooth sailing. I'll be back on Monday with the regular schedule.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 27/11/2010

Hello, I'm on a train to York and I'm using my 15 mins of free internet to bring this to you. Sorry for spelling mistakes I don't have time to fix them.

More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR

Easy, just shoot the other guy.

A Friend in Need - Earn 10 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Remove those shields and put a couple of bullets into those grunts. Do it 10 times over today.

Survivor - Earn 7 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. 1200 cR

Killing Sprees are good as are Sniper Sprees. A Single game of Sniperattack will give you 100 kills at least Giving you 3 Sniper specific sprees and the other 4 will just come as normal. Stick it on beachhead and you might just get Vehicular Manslaughter as well.

Katanarama - Kill 1 enemies using the Energy Sword in Firefight Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Title tells it all. As long as you have at least 2 enemies left and one has the sword, you know what to do.

That's it, sorry for the short work but I haven't got much choice. Have fun and see you tomorrow.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 26/11/2010

Hello, not delayed today as I could of been. Have a nice long break too. So here we go, a mix of Campaign & Multiplayer, not overly challenging but certainly much more grinding.

Double Nickels - Earn 2 Killing Sprees in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1500 cR

Best thing to do here is play objective. Give yourself some distance from the objective and pick of the people as they get near it. That way you can keep your kills up without endangering yourself.

Gunslinger - Kill 100 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

...

Leadership Element - Kill 45 enemy leaders in the Campaign today. 1500 cR

Remember, Leaders are generally Elites. I got this after playing Long Night of Solace from Rally point Bravo, twice. So 2 runs through from Rally Point Bravo and you're good.

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 3000 cR

Lots of cR, just play.

7000 cR. Very nice. At least 3 easy ones today so you should get that weekly. May not be here tomorrow so my friend may take over. We'll see.

Have fun.

Site Updates 25/11/2010

Good evening. Taking a quick moment to give you people a quick heads up on some new site developments.

First of all, new contact information and ways to get mini updates.

The new E-mail address is hhf@hattedhalofox.co.uk, if you feel the need to E-mail me about anything go ahead. If it's help you be needing or new ideas for challenges go ahead and do it.

Secondly, HHF has a linked Twitter Account and Facebook Account. So you'll get all the main chunk of information in the morning but if there are any mini updates worth mentioning such as extra ammo or areas with a high concentration of grunts, it'll be updated there. You can also go ahead and ask question there.

Right, beyond that there will also be a few videos coming soon (just need to get some help from some old friends). I'd use Bungie Pro but I'd go through that like mad, cheaper way is to just get a capture card set up going. Did it once before but that was while PAL-50 was the HD we had, we managed to sort out HD recording before we all became too busy to record.

So there is the updates. Have fun and, I got the weekly Challenge :D

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 25/11/2010

Good Morning, on my Laptop today so I'm a little more at home. Lots of Campaigning and some rather easy challenges as they can all be completed on Normal difficulty. Today we also have a bit of an odd challenge, today, we're going bird watching:

Nature vs. Nurture - Kill 15 Moa in Winter Contingency on Normal or harder. 2000 cR

2000 cR for hunting down and killing some flightless birds. Seems very odd and rather unchallenging. Word of warning, when getting the achievement, running over a Moa doesn't count count towards it, so if the same rules apply to the challenge, you may need to hop out an shoot it a bit. As to locations, there are 2 as you start, 2/3 just before the Elites, then a lot of the rest are in and around the buildings. Check them all, kill all the enemies (as Grunts will count for later challenges) and look for the Moa. You need to get all these before you enter the Falcon.

Second Method (If it works) Kill the first 2, revert to saved, repeat.

Roast 'em, Toast 'em - Kill 35 enemies while jet-packing in Exodus on Normal. 1500 cR

Grenades, Rockets, Fuel Rods, Hammers, anything you can get your hands on, just remember, you need to be jetpacking as you get the kill, even if it's a beat down.

The Little Guys - Kill 200 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or harder. 2000 cR

Kill 200 Grunts. Get the ones from the previous challenges first then mop up on any level that has them in abundance. Oni Sword base has a bunch at the start, Winter Contingency has a large amount too. Up to you.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 90 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1000 cR

Only 90, in any game mode. You'll get this getting the others.

6500 cR plus an added bonus of the weekly if you've got 100% of the challenges so far. I'll leave you guys to it. Have fun.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 24/11/2010 UPDATE

Hello, not on break so I need to keep Alt + Tabbing right now. Fun. So right now I'll jump right in as always:

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1500 cR

Kill stuff, 150 items of stuff.

Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

You know how to assist, damage a bit and run away. Shield drop is always good, stick to plasma.

J.H. Death Machine - Kill 10 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the Grenade Launcher. 1000 cR

Grunts will fall by the thousands, just pick yourself a Scoreattack game on any map of preference (Corvette? Those doors are really good for explosives) and let the explosions take them out.

Explosive Ordnance Distribution - Earn 3 kills with ordnance weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1000 cR

Had a bit of an argument on what an ordinance weapon is with my friend the Gauntlet Squirrel. We have 3 solutions.

1. Any weapon you pick up is considered an ordinance weapon.
2. An explosive weapon. - Thanks to commenter input, I can say this is the answer, So Plasma Launcher, Concussion Rifle, Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher and the Splaser. Not regular Grenades though.
3. Power Weapons (Shotgun, Sword, Rockets, ect)

It's times like this I wish I was at home to double check this. I'll attempt to get an answer from somewhere within the hour. No promises though.

That's that, back to work for me. If you like this blog, say so by clicking the like button, or don't, but preferably do, it's up to you. You could even drop a comment on the page about anything, I'll get back to you. That's it for tonight, or today... I dunno. Stay tuned though, I do believe I'll have some rather interesting news later on.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 23/11/2010

Morning, good time to have break today, right after the challengess come out, sadly, once again, time is limited so I'll jump right in:

Heroic Demon – Kill 10 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking on Heroic or harder. 1300 cR

Either, Jump into firefight and attempt to steal as many Elite kills as you can, or play a couple of Sniperfights. Sniperfights all together may take longer but the kills are all yours.

A Solid Outing – Earn at least 15 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 3000 cR

15 Kills in 1 game, not hard, we've done 30 for a weekly challenge. If you did that one, do what you did again. Invasion & Invasion Slayer are good but the best is multi-team, objective if possible, they rarely finish before the time runs out so you've got 12 mins to kill, literally.

Cook ‘em, Clean ‘em! – Kill 10 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking whilst you’re jet-packing. 1500 cR

Explosives are your friend as well as a steady aim. Remember to be holding that equipment button while you get the kill.

More than a Handful – Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1250 cR

Yesterday was 100, now it's 125. Do what you did yesterday, just for a bit longer. Living Dead is good for finishing up those final 3 you're missing, the games don't last long.

Have fun and keep getting the challenges. That weekly payoff is nice on top of today's 7050 cR. Have fun.

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 22/11/2010 Dedication/Time

Dedication/Time - Complete 16 Daily Challenges this week. 16000cR

A very easy challenge as I'm here to help you with the daily challenges. You need to do 2.25871 challenges per day, although with the physical impossibilities of this I would suggest doing 3 a day. After that you need to get 1 on the weekend. It really doesn't matter too much, just do as many as you can and provided you do 3 for 2 days you can do 2 for 5 or whatever combo you want.

Lets hope we get some high paying, easy challenges this week because that's a big payoff.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 22/11/2010

Hello again, sorry about the small delay. We have a new Trainer for the apprenticeship so updates may be later than normal. Anyway, new week, new challenges and a lot of cR to get. I'll jump in as my time is limited.

Gunslinger - Kill 100 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Kill 100 people in multiplayer, now you don't need to win all those games, Invasion & Multi-team are back on the list. Go nuts.

Pass the Rock - Earn 20 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Go for the shield pops, I often find that multi-team is good here for getting those, your team won't always get the points but you'll get the assists.

Foggy Notion - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic with Cloud and Famine on. 1400 cR

So no motion detector and less ammo on heroic. I'm sorry but the fact you get so much ammo on Winter Contingency and the ability to avoid so many of the fights just by hugging wall, running past and ramming enemies with your vehicle. Easy stuff.

A Satisfied Thirst - Kill 250 Grunts in Firefight Matchmaking. 1800 cR

Scoreattack Gruntpocolypse, need I say anymore.

Easy start today, you should get at least 3 of them though, the weekly needs it but I'll talk more on that at lunch. Have fun and get that 5200 cR.

Sunday, November 21, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 21/11/2010

O.K. guys, this is it, less than 24 hours left to win all your MP matches. So lets get out there and win. If however, you've finished that and want a new challenge, the new dailies are up, so let's take a look.

You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 12 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1000 cR

Precision weapons are Sniper, Focus Rifle, DMR & Needle Rifle. Gametypes I suggest are Snipers and SWAT if you're good at them, personally, as much as I like those gametypes, I can't do long range combat to save my life, so what do I do, stick it on invasion. The long rounds give you enough time to get the 12 you'll need.

Gunslinger - Kill 40 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Yep

Like a Glove - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic or harder with the Catch Skull on. 1000 cR

Catch = More Grenades from both the enemies & your allies. I'm going to go ahead and say Winter Contingency. It's a short mission, Grunts are easy to take out and you can skip a fair amount of combat.

Points Pyramid - Score 40,000 points on any Campaign mission. 4000 cR

Easier than you think, Long Night of Solace Rally Point Alpha, Put on Every Skull and Stick it right up to Legendary. The Banshees still have the combat effectiveness of paper and give you near 2000 points per kill. You'll have to go through the first 2 waves, (1 Banshee set, 1 Seraph set) and after that a mixed set will come in, just focus on the Banshees, they'll spawn behind and above the Seraphs. 5 mins after starting you'll have done it.

7000 cR again, very nice and not too time consuming so you can get them all and the weekly. Have fun and kill fast.

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 20/11/2010

Hello, good morning. Sorry I'm late, I was... erm... Testing some theories for the challenges (and not sleeping) so now we have that out of the way, let's get started, big haul today:

Chaddlesby's Justice - Avenge your teammates' deaths 7 times in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000cR

To avenge a teammates' death you must kill the enemy who killed them within a short time frame. There's no real easy way to do this, the best advice I can give is to go around in a pair, that way, if your partner dies, hopefully you've both done enough damage to finish the enemy off quickly.

Killagruntjaro! - Earn 10 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. 1000 cR

We've had this before except get 35 multikills. Very easy on Gruntpocolypse, just move from 1 headshot to the next, with a small side of grenades.

Just a Shower - Complete any Campaign mission on Normal or harder with Thunderstorm on. 2000cR

Upping the enemy rank puts a normal game into a halfway point between normal and heroic, still very easy. Stick with short missions (Winter Contingency) or vehicular heavy (Long night)

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 3000cR

Same as always, kill a lot of people, this time for a huge pay off.

7000 cR to get from the challenges today, 1 for each game mode and 1 for all roundness. Have fun, I'm going back to the weekly, bye.

Friday, November 19, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 19/11/2010

Good day to you all. It's Friday so it's time to really start hammering away at that weekly challenge (If you haven't been already) and today will certainly help you with that. All of today's challenges are set to be done in Multiplayer matchmaking (well, almost) let's start:

Showtime - Earn 5 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. 1000 cR

5 assists in a single game, not impossible but still somewhat tricky. You'll want to go for the longer games (Invasion and other objective types) and you'll want to stay with the shield popping Plasma weapons. I would say take the Plasma pistol and launch those overcharged bolts.

Credits for Completion - Complete 8 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. 800 cR

It's not asking you to win them, just to participate and to finish them. Stop quitting halfway through if you're loosing.

Close Talking - Earn 20 kills with close quarters combat in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Swords, Shotguns, Hammers and your own Fist are your weapons here. Stick with invasion, sure fire way to get the Shotgun & Sword.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 2000 cR

Any game mode but if you leave it to the end you'll be close by the time you've gotten the rest of these challenges.

4800 cR for the Friday, ending the weekdays on a moderate high. Have fun guys.

Thursday, November 18, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 18/11/2010

I just posted this entry as just I title, whoops. Ah well, the good ability to edit. So it is true that Thursday is Firefight day and today has a rather explosive weapon theme. Not a bad thing just means your weapon selection is rather limited.

That Pink Mist – Kill 70 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Rather simple this one, pick up a Needler or Needle Rifle and hit them enough times to make them explode. 6 or 7 for the Needler and 3 for the Rifle. Remember though, that Rifle can get headshots and in this case, that's something you want to avoid. While you can do Gruntpocolypse with the needlers, it's doubtful there'll be enough. I'll say, take Courtyard or Corvette, something small, and stock up on Needler & Needle Rifle ammo. May take you a couple of games to get.

Blast Radius – Kill 30 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with Grenades. 600 cR

Similar to the above challenge, only less kills and less cR. This one I'd suggest Corvette. Those monster rooms are just too good to pass up. Lob 2 grenades in one, 2 in another. That can get you up to 20 in a single volley. Doable in 2/3 waves. Mop up the rest with Supercombines.

Support Structure – Earn 30 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. 600 cR

Assists, just damage the enemy and let someone else finish them. Think you know that by now. Team up and call targets.

One Spartan Army – Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. 1500 cR

2 games will cover this, just go out there and kill the enemy.

3700 cR to get today on top of the Firefight points. Have fun and make your enemies explode.

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 17/11/2010

Hello again, how are you all? Today we have a nice set of challenges for different gametypes. But rather than have me babble on about it let's dive right in.

The Little Guys - Kill 200 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or harder. 2000 cR

Find a level the is very heavy in terms of Grunts and rain: Lead, Grenades and Plasma upon them. Levels to suggest, Winter Contingency. This level is very Grunt heavy, make sure to hit all the combat areas and take out as many as you can. Towards the end they make a rather large appearance again. Other levels to Suggest.

Nightfall, That level has a large splattering of Grunts at the beginning also, with some nice hot spots later on.

I would also suggest Exodus, The enemies you meet on that level are mostly suicide Grunts so you need to kill them quickly or at least damage them. After that, when you get the jet-pack they do appear very frequently. So take your pick or mix it up, your choice.

On the Sixth Respawn... - Complete a Firefight Matchmaking game with fewer than 5 deaths. 500 cR

Now, if this is talking about Scoreattack this is very easy (Gruntpocolypse) but if it's talking about true Firefight you may have a bit of a problem (I can't verify but I've just got a felling that giving us this on Scoreattack would be too easy). If that's true and it can on;y be done of Firefight, take a rocket launcher and either a Jet-pack, sprint or drop shield. Keep yourself nimble, versatile or give yourself the ability to put a wall between you and your enemies.

Gunslinger - Kill 100 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. 1000 cR

Point the barrel end of your gun towards the enemies and pull the trigger. Keep holding or keep tapping till they're dead. Do this 100 times. Any game type is valid but keep in mind that multi-team, although very nice for kills, is harder to win so won't always get you closer to the weekly.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 90 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1000 cR

Kill 90 enemies. You need to kill 100 in Matchmaking, Die less than 5 time in a Firefight (Around 120 kills) and Kill 200 Grunts. If you didn't get it along the way, congrats you've found a bug.

So today is a game of staying alive and shooting everything that isn't helping (not that AFK team-mate though, as much as we'd like to). So have some fun grab all 4500 cR and try to do better than you are currently doing.

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Halo Reach Daily Challenge 16/11/2010

Back on track at normal time. So how be everyone today, hope you can see further out your window than I can (Stupid cold fog). Moving on, today you really need to earn your challenges, they aren't too hard but there are some certain triggers you need to hit.

A Great Friend - Earn 15 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. 900 cR

You know assists, do 40% damage and have someone kill them in 5 seconds. I'm going to say stick with shield stripping weapons, plasma to be specific. Or you can punch them, although getting a friend to kill them before they kill you can sometimes be tricky (Unless you have armour lock).

Orbital Assists - Kill 20 enemies using the Target Designator in Firefight Matchmaking. 750 cR

You'll have to be fast to get this one, that Target Designator will be taken very quickly. Plus you need to get 10 with each volley. That can be tricky, I've often seen the artillery miss by tiny amounts. You may need to use 3 volleys to take them all out. Team up if you can so you don't get other people hogging it.

Cook 'em, Clean 'em! - Kill 5 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking while you're jet-packing. 300 cR

It doesn't matter at what point in the air you are, unless you're holding the equipment button as you get the kill, you're not getting your medal. Power weapons are lovely, Rockets and anything else explosive to as you can time when to use the jet-pack.

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1500 cR

Kill 150 enemies in any mode. After the multiplayer and Firefights, I'm sure you'll have enough.

There you go, all challenges and a somewhat low 3450 cR. That's just how it is with Tuesdays apparently. Oh well, back to work.

Monday, November 15, 2010

Halo Reach Weekly Challenge 15/11/2010 Clear Eyes

Clear Eyes, Full Hearts - Win 50 games in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. 5000 cR

Unless you're overplaying the game, this ain't coming quickly. To win a game you need to beat the opposition team, so get more points. You need to do this 50 times.

Words of advise:

Avoid Multi Team, 6 teams fighting it out, more chaos, less predictability. Keep it simple with 2 teams and most importantly, have fun. There's no way to speed up this process unless the entire opposing team leave. So sit back and play. Not much else to do.
