There's quite a few cR to pick up today.
Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking - 2750cR
A fair few to be getting mid week. Any who, best gametypes are chaotic objective based games. Actionsack can help but it also has games like Hockey. Grifball is once again a good game. Anything from 0 kills to 75+. Last good one to try out is Multi-Team, King of the hill if possible, those games are crazy.
Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 150 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking -1125cR
Once again not too challenging. Will probably take a couple of games but I'd stay with Gruntpocolypse as always with this challenge. The Grunts fall rather easily when a DMR bullet goes through their head and it's rather easy to get that shot too.
Points Pyramid - Score 100,000 points on any Campaign mission - 3000cR
Fastest way to get this one, Long Night of Solace, Rally Point Alpha, LASO. Blackeye has no effect at this point so you can run and hide to get a quick boost to your health. Best thing to do is start the mission and get behind where the Banshees appear, then, destroy them with a quick burst of Machine gun.
The Magic Number - Complete 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking - 1350cR
Just complete them, the easiest challenge today.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges 12/07/2011
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking - 1100cR
As you need to kill 200 enemies with a pistol, this one will just come with that. If you're looking for just this challenge (For some weird reason) a Single Game of Scoreattack x2 will suit your needs just fine.
Be Their Huckleberry - Kill 200 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the pistol - 1500cR
However, Grunts and a nice amount of pistol ammo might suit this one much better. Gruntpocolypse is where you need to be. Just stick to an ammo crate to keep your pistol full. Any armour ability you want.
Just a Shower - Complete any Campaign mission on Normal or harder with Thunderstorm on - 2000cR
If you're doing the weekly today, you're set. If not,Normal + Thunderstorm = not as hard as Heroic. You can also die as many times as you need so there's no fear of failure. Blast through Nighfall if you want. By now it's possible to do it Blindfolded... If you do do it blindfolded, I'll give you a cookie.

Stay in a game and win. Play games that have a higher win/loss rate than Draw. So stay away from Objective games and Invasion. That is unless you have a very good team to back you up.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges 11/07/2011
More than a Handful - Kill 25 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking - 1000cR
A couple of games of anything should get you here. It may take 3 or possibly 4 depending on the game type. Multi-Team and Grifball would give you a nice boost though. If you're feeling lucky, why not try coming out on top in a Rumble pit game. That'll give you everything you need.
Throwing Fireballs - Kill 2 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game - 1000cR
Grenade Spam away. Always a good idea to jump into Rumble pit or Multi-Team and see if you cant find a bunch of people fighting and then use your grenades to finish them off. The grenades are rather powerful, remember that.
The Little Guys - Kill 135 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or harder - 1200cR
Grunt heavy levels are Winter Contingency, ONI and Exodus (Oh boy). If you're going for the weekly, You'll take a rather big chunk out I can tell you that. Otherwise, just find a large grouping and revert to saved once they're wiped out.
A Solid Outing - Earn at least 13 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game - 1400cR
Rumblepit, Multi-Team and objective games will work well here. It's not impossible to get this from a simple slayer game.

They know what they're talking about. Usually I just like to play co-op with my usual partner and just take a hammer to it. We eventually finish it.
If I remember, last time it didn't take too long thanks to Jet pack shortcuts.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach - 1350cR
Simple as always. Any game mode so Custom Firefights are good, as always it's best to leave it till the end of the other challenges.
This is My Rifle... - Earn 20 kills with precision weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking - 1000cR
Snipers & SWAT are good quick games. Anything with DMR spawns work well though. Not all in one game so take your time.
Killagruntjaro! - Earn 10 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game - 1100cR
10, easy stuff. Grenades in groups will help and Headshots in groups of Grunts will help too. So in a nutshell, Gruntpocolypse. On Corvette is possible.

Start the mission, get to a large group of enemies, use your ammo up to kill a bunch and then revert to last saved. Rinse, Repeat.
